though i was born in the quiet wilderness of new mexico, i grew up in various cities like los angeles, jerusalem and bethesda. while
matriculating at usc, i learned the art of cinematography from judy irola and earl rath while working on many student, side and independent projects.
immediately following graduation, two music videos i shot, "super hyphy" and "3 freaks", were rotated on mtv jams. hopeful for my burgeoning career, i began
steadily working in the camera department where i worked as a 1st ac, camera operator and director of
photography. as a 1st assistant cameraman, i was fortunate to pull focus for many talented dps such as lukas ettlin, gonzalo amat, paul laufer, nancy schreiber, and fred murphy.
to date, i have worked on hundreds of shows that cover the range from features, commercials, music videos, short films, psas, documentaries and tv pilots. i am equally
proficient in both film and digital mediums having worked with nearly every type of camera system and acquisition format. i have experience and contacts shooting across
the country in cities like orlando, san francisco, denver, philadelphia, detroit and boston.
